From a broken apple tree


Linen, dyestuff(apple tree), thread, stuff, wire 230x160x70cm, 75x40x40cm

The story of this work is, through dialogue with inhabitants in fiskars, Finland.

A villager told me about a storm in the summer, because of the storm some apple trees

in the village were totally broken.

I stiched drawing of the apple tree on an old linen.

And I collected the leaves, branches, and apples from one of the tree.

Then dyed cutting form of a chair from the fabric.

For being engraved the existence of the tree.
