I collect those gloves, then wash and repair them when it needed, and put them in a box. On the lid side of box I put up a mirror. If you open the box,
the gloves appear as a pair again. On the front of the box I place the date and street where I found the glove.
It is quite a simple and very appealing idea: Confronted with the work almost everybody instantly gets involved with the idea of absence and existence in life.
It is almost like human relationships. They start to sympathize with the missing counterparts of the gloves and imagine about the story which is behind the incident
- which of course also invokes the story of the former owner of those gloves.Installation view
