One pieces project

"one pieces project" is my ongoing project of exchanging small pieces of cloth cut out of one item of clothing to another.

Through the cutting and sewing of the exchanged pieces the clothes become warped, and each article of clothing takes

on its own unique form.

The transfered pieces of cloth are hand-sewn with durable Japanese thread.

The original clothes were unwanted items that were donated and then resold by a recycling company.

I repair them, remove the tags, re-sew the buttons, mend the frayed spots.

The transferred pieces of cloth are hand-sewn with durable Japanese thread.

The clothes have no definite size -- through the transformations, their original size was altered.

10%of sales will be donated to UNICEF, IUCN and more.
