My friends and I had a traditional Polish dinner at a restaurant with our Polish friend. He odered various disches for us, because we could not read the menu. Soups, salads, drinks, and sweets were brought to our table. I asked our friend, "which of these is the main course?" " The sweet dish is the main course!" he replied.
